Meet The Owner
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time out to stop by our site. I would like to introduce myself and explain the meaning behind our brand. My name is Hailey Simmons and I am a recent graduate of Alabama A&M University in Normal, AL. I run my business on a part-time basis, as I am still a student, currently studying to obtain my Master in Public Health at The University of Alabama in Birmingham. Ultimately, my goal is to become a physician.
Baking4PAPA made its entrance into the world Spring 2020 after I baked my significant other a homemade Red Velvet Cheesecake for his birthday. After sharing some slices with friends, they convinced me to start selling the cake. For the first few weeks I only sold Red Velvet Cheesecakes, but eventually my inventory expanded.
Baking4PAPA is named after my late great-grandfather who lost his battle to cancer in January 2016. He was my everything and he still leaves a major impact in my life daily. He paved the way and it is because of him that I am where I am in life today. I would be remiss not to honor him. So again, welcome and we thank you for shopping with Baking4PAPA.

We had the pleasure of participating in our first vendor event during a Juneteenth Celebration in 2020.
